|Maxine J Horn – CEO, IP Innovator & Visionary|
Maxine initiated the concept and hand-picked the co-creation team in 2009 which led to the launch of Creative Barcode in September 2010. She continues to guide the organisation through the shifting sands of Intellectual Property and keeps the organisation ahead of the curve with ethics, trust and etiquette at the heart of its operating principles.
Maxine has over 21 years’ experience in the design, innovation and knowledge transfer sectors of the creative industries. Between 2006 and 2011 she was a member of the UKIPO B2B Strategy Group and was actively involved in the IP Intellectual Property Review headed up by Ian Hargreaves and latterly Richard Hooper, since the review was launched by UK Prime Minister David Cameron in November 2010. Maxine is a highly regarded innovator in the IP sector, a pioneer of Open Innovation and an acknowledged opinion-former and author.
She founded and ran British Design Innovation* (born British Design Initiative Ltd) the trade association for designers and innovators from 1993 to January 2011 and launched the University Design Industry Partnership Scheme (UDIPS) in June 2010. * Continued under license from BDI Ltd to British Design Innovation from September 2005 through to license termination.
In 2012 she re-launched Innovation Bank - a safe trading portal for collaborative innovation, co-creation and the buying, selling, licensing of innovation concepts and IP. It operates under Creative Barcode® Trust Charter principles. Maxine was a runner-up in the First Women Awards for business pioneers.
|Paul Mellor – Creative Director & Business Strategy|
Paul Mellor picked up the design mantle from Nat Marsh and Richard Wolfstrome in October 2013 to bring refreshed perspective to Creative Barcode and evolve its assets through to the next stage of its innovation journey. Paul is a Co-Founder and Design Director of London Full Service Creative Agency Mellor&Scott and manages a team of designers. He is a fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers and an Ambassador of the London Chamber of Commerce as well as a launch member and huge fan of Creative Barcode.
Paul has worked in the creative industry for over 10 years. He co-founded Mellor and Scott in 2008 with former director David Scott and runs it today with fellow Director James Smith.
Paul is responsible for over-arching commercial strategy and design direction driving the business forward in a multi-faceted role of Marketeer, Designer, Strategist, Writer, Speech Maker and Director.

An Industrial Design Engineer educated at Leicester DeMontfort University with over 30 years experience in product design and development.
Bruce is inventor and co-inventor of numerous patents across a broad spectrum and has won a myriad of design awards. Following a collaboration between Renfrew Group International and Professor Joan Taylor, De Montfort University, Bruce was named inventor of the year 2014 for the design and development of the artificial pancreas that automatically releases the correct insulin dose to diabetic patients.
His industry sector experience spans scientific equipment, capital goods, medical products and automotive vehicles.

Johnathan founded MetaLair Ltd in 2012 to provide specialist cryptocurrency and blockchain services to its international client base of predominantly fintech businesses. He began working with Creative Barcode in late 2015 undertaking a full feasibility study on the utilisation of block chain technology to under pin a new business model for the attribution and protection of Intellectual Property and an automated licensing platform combined with a full payment system enabled for all currencies including crypto currencies.

Nathanael Marsh, an original co-founder of Creative Barcode®, is an award-winning designer of user interfaces, applications and service design. Trained in film production, graphic and multimedia design, Nat's core strength is taking raw information and translating it into easily understood and visually exciting formats, applying this underlying principle to video, web design, CD-Rom design or application development.
