Private briefing for Lawyers and IP strategists with Mike Weatherley MP, Intellectual Property Advisor to UK Prime Minister David Cameron with Creative Barcode on January 13th, 2014

Mike Weatherley MP for Hove & Portslade, East Sussex neighbouring the Creative Barcode home town of Brighton will be giving a briefing to our IP Innovation members and non-members on January 13th, 2014 hosted at the British Library, IP Centre, Euston Road, London, NW1

Mike will brief delegates on his role and share his own aims and objectives followed by a Q & A session with delegates.

Mike comes from a strong professional background in Intellectual Property for both music and film. Before his election to Parliament in 2010, Mike was the Vice President (Europe) for the Motion Picture Licensing Company and previously worked for music industry giant Pete Waterman.

As an MP, Mike has pushed hard to raise awareness of Intellectual Property Rights amongst his colleagues. Mike's Rock the House initiative, which is now Parliament's largest competition, is a popular vehicle which achieved this aim.
